The beauties

Type designers Panayotis Haratzopoulos and Yannis Karlopoulos who founded in 1995, along with Vassilis Georgiou initiated the Stella Project which was “an attempt to study the forgotten art of Greek calligraphy that flourished from the ’50s through to the ’70s.” By studying signs, advertisements, covers, and packaging of the past, they digitised and sometimes modernised letters that would have otherwise faded.
